2019.... from nothing to something amazing
On the morning of April 28th 2019 Bundlfresh went live and an idea became a business. I emailed 30 family and friends and invited them to the site and hoped someone would place an order. Over the next few hours a few orders trickled in and the ‘soft launch’ of Bundlfresh was a reality.
Then something amazing happened …. word got out on Facebook about the site and people I had never met before began to order! It is really pleasing to see that a lot of these adventurous souls remain loyal and valued customers.
In the beginning there were only 10 Partner Vendors…. by the end of 2019 this number is closer to 30! These amazing partners have added nearly 2000 products to Bundlfresh already. And it is exciting that there are a dozen more great food businesses lined up to join in early 2020.
One big development later in the year was Dan joining Bundlfresh. My new Partner brings with him an amazing attitude, great technical skills and a wicked sense of humour. His love of local food and our Northern Beaches community add to his value. I am lucky to have him join me on this start-up journey and also to have as a great mate.
We have been working hard in the background to launch a new version of the site that will make the convenience of shopping local with Bundlfresh, that much easier.
This new site is currently being tested and is set to be live in the next two weeks.
